The world’s first commercial truck tires that instantly seals tread punctures

DuraSeal Technology it’s the latest discovery of the world's largest tire company, Goodyear, that was apply in the manufacture of the trucks tires. The new technology helps the trucks driver, guarantying a lower cost for tires in one month with at least 10%. But what is this DuraSeal Technology after all? Here’s how Goodyear officials explain there technology. The DuraSeal is based on polymer engineering and it’s practical a kind of special rubble in a gel form, that feel the tires on the inside. When the tire is puncture by a foreigner object, the rubble gel instantly surrounds the orifice and seals the tread puncture. This miraculous polymer can seal a puncture up to 7 mm diameter (0.25inch). From this technology Goodyear develop two models of truck tires G287 MSA DuraSeal and G288 MSA DuraSeal. They say the tires help minimize the downtime, the time that drivers spend to change a flat tire, and offers a superior and quality tire for all kind of trucks.
