Peugeot compete with the Audi TT

Peugeot 308 RC Z enters into competition with the Audi TT model

Peugeot has presented the series model 308 RC Z, disclosed after the two years of initial concept version from the Auto Show in Frankfurt. The car will be officially launched on the market in May 2010.

The car is wished to be a competitor for Audi TT. At a more careful analysis the model seems to borrow some exterior features from his rival. 308 RC Z will be equipped with a Mini Cooper JCW engine 1.6 turbo that generates 218 HP.
In the future, manufacturers are considering a diesel engine of 2.0 liters of 163CP. Transmission for all types of motor will be manual or automatic box in six steps. No details where given about the price, but certainly will be below that of the TT.
