Peugeot has revealed the new compact MPV named 5008. Model 5008 incorporates design and motor of 3008 and will be presented at the Auto Salon in Frankfurt. Just a week from announcing future MPV 5008, French manufacturer Peugeot has revealed official information and images of this model. Peugeot 5008 will rival models such as the Opel Zafira and Renault Scenic, and will be available in Europe starting this fall. The model will be presented at the Auto Salon in Frankfurt. Peugeot 5008 will be available in two versions, which will provide five or seven seats.

The version with seven seats of this model has a trunk volume of 758 liters or 823 if folding the third row of seats. The version with five seats Peugeot's 5008 model offers a trunk volume of 1247 liters and if is removing the second row of seats will raise the trunk volume to 2506 liters. To give a fresh new perspective, the French designers have equipped the new 5008 with a panoramic glass roof, which has an area of 1.69 square meters. Appearance of this model is a mix between the 807 MPV crossover and the 3008. Model 5008 has a length of 4.53 meters, a height of 1.64 meters and a track width of 2.72 meters. The motors type for Peugeot 5008 was taken from the smaller brother, 3008. So Peugeot 5008 comes with two models propelled by gasoline and three models on diesel. The gasoline motor has a 1.6 liters capacity engine and offering 120 to 156 HP. The 1.6 liters diesel model develops 110 HP, while his big brother, 2.0 liters capacity engine, develops 150 HP.
