L1, bullet-car produced by Volkswagen

Frankfurt Motor Show is the main event in this fall, a chance for car manufacturers not only to present the newest creations but to present a vision of the future, through there car-concepts.

Volkswagen, the manufacturer with the largest sales among German car companies, has exposed the L1 concept, called by the journalists present at the opening of the Salon, bullet-car.

The compact and aerodynamic shape combines the features of a powerful sport car, as well as those of a family vehicle. The bullet shape is amplified by the silver color used.

The first information provided by VW officials indicate a body of carbon fiber and aluminum, a hybrid diesel-electric engine consuming less than 2 liters per 100 km, and a top speed of 160 km / h.
