Recently included in a top of the most ugly cars, the Toyota Prius could announce in the coming months two new derivatives: a Wagon and a SUV model, keeping both technical and design characteristics of the last generation of the Prius. According to Japanese newspaper Yomiuri, the new derivatives is expected to enter production in a year, their project is already completed. Toyota officials had no reaction to Japanese press reports. The idea of launching a wagon Prius is not new. In 2007 was presented at the Geneva Motor Show Hybrid X, seen by experts as a leading automotive market potential candidate for a wagon version of the Prius.
