Ferrari made public the first official pictures and information about the new 458 Italy successor of F430. Ferrari 458 Italy will be presented in world premiere in September at the Auto Salon in Frankfurt.

It comes with a completely new engine and will become the fastest model in the history of Ferrari. Performances will be provided by a 4.5 liter V8 capable of developing 570 HP at 9000 rpm, a figure which shows the remarkable amount of 127 HP / liter. Maximum torque is 540 Nm available from 6000 rpm. With these values of the engine, Ferrari 458 Italy made sprint 0-100 km / h in 3.4 seconds and reach top speeds of 325 km / h.

Semi-automatic transmission with seven gears and double clutch is borrowed from California, the brakes are ceramic, and the direct injection system helps for a significant fuel economy. Official figures show emissions of 320 g / km and a joint consumption 13.7 l/100 km.

Dynamic performances are possible due to the materials used, such as aluminum, magnesium and carbon fiber, which keeps a low weight for the Maranello car.

But the new Ferrari 458 Italy impressed not only by performance but also by design. "Guilty" for exterior design is famous Pininfarina design studio, while the interior is the work of Donato Coco, chief designers of the Ferrari.
