Toyota FT-86 Concept
Akio Toyoda presented the newest Toyota concept at the Tokyo Motor Show : the Toyota FT-86. It’s inspired by the Corolla-based AE86 sports coupe of the '80s. The Toyota FT-86 concept was designed by the Toyota's ED2 styling studio in France. The details of this car hasn't been divulged but we now this much: it's powered by a Subaru-derived 2.0-liter boxer four sending power to the rear wheels; it’s 163.78 inches long and 69.29 inches wide; it has a wheelbase of 101.18 inches.
The production of Toyota FT-86 will start sometime in 2011 and he price will be around $20,000.
FT-86 Concept (world premiere) - The FT-86 ("86" pronounced "hachi roku"), a compact rear-wheel-drive sports car, provides driving joy and excitement.
