M-division revealed BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M

The BMW's X5 M and X6 M have been officially revealed to us. From the last year, until now, spy pictures of both vehicles, together and individually, have been all over the web.

Both the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M are equipped with a brand new 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 [ 555hp (408kW) at 6,000rpm; maximum torque of 500 lb-ft (678Nm) between a 1,500 and 5,650rpm]. The turbos make a top boost pressure of 1.5 bar. Both M models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.7 seconds and have a maximum speed of 250km/h (electronically limited).

The BMW X6's Dynamic Performance Control structure is now offered for the BMW X5 M too. Functioning in combination with xDrive it helps in keeping the cars grounded and grip to a maximum. With a weight distribution ratio around 50:50 these BMW cars are already optimized for performance. Some great features: servotronic steering, rain sensors, adaptive xenon headlights, hill descent control, trailer stability control, electronic parking brake, cruise control, iDrive.
