Alpine - Renault Group's absolute sports brand with cars in Formula 1 and Le Mans - naturally attracts attention from many places. And now, 28 students from the design school in Turin have presented their bid for the future sports car. The name is the A4810 project by IED.

Alpine A4810 hydrogen sports car

IED, of course, refers to the name of the school (Istituto Europeo di Design) while being a little more sophisticated than the A4810. But it makes sense. "A" naturally refers to the Alpine, which dates back to 1955, while 4810 is the height of Mont Blanc - the most iconic mountain in the Alps between France and Italy. And by the way, the Alpine name is named after the Alps and refers to the joy of driving on winding mountain roads.

The sports car, which is a little more than five meters long, two meters wide, and just over a meter high, is a two-seater sports car that runs on hydrogen.
The A4810 hydrogen car was created according to instructions from Alpine, which asked the students to develop a sports car in 2035. So the car is both sporty and, at the same time, a bid for an environmentally friendly sports car. It is, of course, made from carbon and is therefore super light, and has taken some experience from Formula 1 on how to build an optimal aerodynamic car.
