The two-seat Jaguar sports car, the F-Type, has just undergone a massive refresh process, visible both outside and inside the passenger compartment.
Outside, the front has been extensively modified: the headlights are now horizontally oriented and the newly redesigned grille. The hood (which was in turn restored) now plunges more strongly in front. In the rear, the changes are much more subtle, the most notable being the angular design of the optical blocks. The lines of the rear spoiler and speaker vary depending on the version of the equipment chosen.
The most powerful engine (F-Type R) has now become even more powerful. This is the supercharged 5.0-liter V8, which now boasts 575 horsepower and a torque of 700 Newton-meters - figures specific to the SVR version.
The F-Type R (available with all-wheel drive only) sprints from 0 to 96 km / h in 3.5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 299 km / h. The new list for R also includes revised adaptive dampers, stiffer suspensions and reinforced anti-roll bars.
The engine range has undergone wider changes, the most important being the emergence of a 5.0-liter V8, with 450 horsepower and 580 Newton-meters. It is available with both rear and all-wheel drive and boasts a 4.4-second 0-96 km / h sprint and a maximum speed of 285 km / h. Neither the V8 engine with 500 hp nor the V6 (with 340 and 380 hp respectively) can be found in the range of offers currently in Europe. The list of engines is supplemented by the four-line 2.0-liter unit, with 300 hp, available only with rear-wheel drive.
In the interior, the novelties are represented by the instrument panel with a diagonal of 12.3 inches, customizable according to the user's needs. The infotainment system receives extra connectivity features - Apple CarPlay and Google Android.
The equipment versions in which the Jaguar F-Type can be ordered are - in addition to the standard - are the First Edition and R edition.
