With the return of the new GranTurismo, Maserati writes a new chapter in a story that began 75 years ago with the introduction of the Maserati A6 1500—a car widely considered a design classic. The Maserati GranTurismo coupé embodies the philosophy "The Others Just Travel" by combining the high performance expected of a sports car with the comfort required for long trips. Whether you opt for the version powered by potent thermal engines or the most advanced 100% electric solutions, this is true. It's the first vehicle from the House of the Trident to use solely electric propulsion, and it's a big step toward the future for the Brand.

Maserati GranTurismo

GranTurismo's design strikes the optimal balance between elegance and practicality without resorting to extravagance and having a design that is both one of a kind and instantly recognized, with an emphasis on the simplicity of its forms and the elegance of its details.

The four fenders still meet in the center of the car, and the long bonnet remains, so the cars retain their traditional proportions. Conversely, the roofline slopes dramatically downward to highlight the arc of the pillar upon which the trademark Trident logo is displayed.

The Maserati GranTurismo is an expression of "Italian luxury performance," a concept shared by all Maserati models. It was designed in the Maserati Innovation Lab and is manufactured at the Maserati production center in Mirafiori (Turin).

Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo

The base model, the Maserati GranTurismo Modena, and the high-performance Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo are powered by the same groundbreaking V6 Nettuno engine, which produces a maximum of 550 hp.

However, the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore uses a battery-powered electric motor. The Folgore system was created using cutting-edge technical solutions inspired by Formula E and based on 800V technology. The three powerful 300-kilowatt permanent magnet motors contribute greatly to its remarkable performance.

The battery can continually transmit about 760 hp to the wheels, with a discharge capacity of 560 kW and a nominal capacity of 92.5 KWh. Ingenious battery packaging and placement enable a car height of just 1353 mm without sacrificing the vehicle's sporty charm. Maserati's "zero compromises" design philosophy is reflected in the "T-bone" shape of the battery pack, which allows for the elimination of battery modules beneath the seats in favor of a more central placement, resulting in a substantially lower "H" point.

The new model's technical architecture results from a cutting-edge research and development effort that heavily employs lightweight materials like aluminum and magnesium in combination with high-performance steel. The multi-material strategy necessitated the development of new manufacturing methods but ultimately allowed for category-leading lightweight. This is complemented by the cutting-edge cyber-security level 5 and flash-over-the-air features of the new Atlantis High electric-electronic architecture, which is based on canFD messages and allows for speeds of up to 2ms.

The cabin of the Maserati GranTurismo is both comfortable and high-tech, thanks to features like the MIA (Maserati Intelligent Assistant) Multimedia system, the latest generation Infotainment system. This comfort display collects the main functions in an integrated interface touch, digital clock, and Head-up Display (optional).

The Maserati engine's distinctive rumble can also be heard in the electric GranTurismo due to pioneering research by the team at Maserati's Innovation Lab. Sonus faber's three-dimensional immersive sound system rounds out the auditory experience. The audio system, designed and constructed by Italian sound experts, features two levels of customization with a maximum of 19 speakers, three-dimensional sound, and up to 1195 watts for a one-of-a-kind acoustic experience.

Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo

To celebrate the recent 75th anniversary of this Maserati icon, the Launch Edition PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary of the Maserati GranTurismo is also available.

Putting the customer's needs first, Maserati's new GranTurismo achieves the seemingly impossible by blending sporty performance with long-distance comfort, thanks to both potent thermal engines and the most innovative 100% electric solutions, establishing itself as a benchmark in the segment.
