ŠKODA KAMIQ: All the highlights
All ŠKODA KAMIQ engines are direct injection and equipped with a turbocharger. They have a system that recovers the braking energy as well as the start/stop function. In addition, they comply with the Euro 6d TEMP emission standard, the most stringent currently in force. The basic model features a 70 KW 1.0 TSI engine (95 hp). The 1.0 three-cylinder engine develops a maximum torque of 175 Nm and is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 1.0 TSI model with 85 kW (115 bhp) develops 200 Nm of torque and is equipped as standard with a 6-speed gearbox. The 7-speed DSG automatic transmission is available on request. The most powerful engine is the 1.5 TSI four-cylinder 110 kW (150 hp), capable of developing 250 Nm of maximum torque. In the presence of a reduced load, the active cylinder management system (ACT) keeps only two cylinders running, thus reducing consumption. This version is also combined with the 6-speed manual transmission, while the 7-speed DSG gearbox is available as an option. All three petrol engines are equipped with a diesel particulate filter.
A completely new crossover model combines the advantages of SUVs with the agility of compact cars. Modern assistance systems are combined with a fresh design.
