New VW Passat

Photos from Carpix surprised Volkswagen engineers while testing next generation of Passat model. Although the model has a body image B6, used to the current generation of Passat, the test vehicle chassis is different and it is testing at Nurburgring. German engineers test the chassis of the future VW Passat in sports car condition, so we can aspect a sport VW PAssat.

The first camouflaged body of the new Volkswagen Passat B7 should appear at Nurburgring in the next period. Now, the Volkswagen engineers are conducted test with a high B body and an increased splay wing to make room for the new chassis and the running train of the future Passat. These changes indicate that the new model will be longer, widest and most spacious.

According to first information, Volkswagen will bring a new standard Passat, the latest technology will guide the new model to the premium segment, now disputed by the Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse and BMW 3 Series. Besides that the new model will receive a new range of motor performance, which is in accordance with the policy of downsizing the company's Wolfsburg. The new model will be presented next year and will have direct injection technology and an automatic parking system.
