The tuning company Carlsson presents its new SLK-based race car at the Geneva Motor Show. The Carlsson Mercedes-Benz SLK 340 debuted on the first press day. This absolutely unique race car was developed with the most ultramodern design and state-of-the-art technology.

The car has a body shell build from an ultra-lightweight carbon material. The Carlsson SLK 340 weights just 780 kilograms. The Carlsson Mercedes-Benz SLK 340 in its racing suit with its powerful rear wing looks super chic.
The Carlsson SLK 340 is powered by a 3.4 liter V8 engine producing 610 hp with a maximum torque of 430 newton meters; a Hewland transmission and adjustable KW competition suspension. Carlsson racing seats guarantee best lateral support.
The Carlsson Mercedes-Benz SLK 340 took over 1800 hours of work on its development. Reto Meisel, team leader and driver, said “There has never been a race touring car with such extreme performance data and technical highlights.”
