The new Toyota RAV4 ADVENTURE

Toyota is expanding the RAV4's true SUV appeal with the launch of the new RAV4 ADVENTURE, a new addition to the current lineup that underlines the model's "go anywhere" vibe with a stand-out rugged design that's fit for life in the wilderness.

The new Toyota RAV4 ADVENTURE will extend the model's market reach to those who desire a vehicle that reflects their enjoyment of living off the tourist map while retaining Toyota's hybrid technology's performance and economic benefits.

With its more aggressive front-end appearance, the Toyota RAV4 ADVENTURE makes its goals obvious. The all-black grille has a stronger visual effect, with the Toyota logo sliding down from the bonnet's leading edge to a prominent position on two horizontal bars that span the unit's center. New black surrounds enhance the vehicle's imposing posture and SUV capabilities for the front fog lights and a brilliant silver-finished under-run.

More prominent wheel arches and new 19-inch alloy wheels with a matt grey finish add to the appearance. There's a similar silver under-run towards the back. The RAV4 ADVENTURE will also be available in a one-of-a-kind bi-tone paint scheme that combines an Urban Khaki body with a Dynamic grey roof, front pillars, and rear spoiler.

The new Toyota RAV4 ADVENTURE is powered by the fourth generation hybrid electric technology. It comes standard with an intelligent all-wheel-drive delivered by a small electric motor on the rear axle. The economical yet powerful Hybrid-powertrain generates 222 horsepower by combining electrical motors with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with one of the best thermal efficiencies in the world for a serial manufacturing engine. AWD-i can also tow loads weighing up to 1,650 kg.

The new SUV from Toyota also incorporates minor modifications implemented across the RAV4 lineup in 2022, such as new projector-type LED headlights and LED front fog lights. In addition, a new 10-spoke alloy wheel design is featured in brilliant silver for mid-grade and gloss black on the hybrid electric and petrol-powered variants. The emphasis in the cabin is on improved comfort and convenience, with new LED lighting, power adjustment for the front passenger seat, lighted window control controls, and new USB-C connections suited for charging phones and gadgets while driving.

The most recent updates keep the world's best-selling SUV on track. The first RAV4 launched a new market for recreational SUVs with car-like agility in 1994, a breakthrough that has resulted in over two million sales. Its innovative attitude has been preserved by becoming the first vehicle in its class to provide hybrid electric power; now, the RAV4 Hybrid is also the best-selling electrified SUV.

The new Toyota RAV4 ADVENTURE will be available in the first quarter of 2022.
