The new Audi SQ5 TDI is sporty, powerful and efficient. Audi SQ5 TDI facelift offers an interior with sports elements and a diesel engine with 341 hp and 700 Nm.
For the interior, Audi has developed illuminated aluminium sills inscribed with the S logo, sports seats, carbon fibre or aluminium accessories (depending on customer preferences). As standard, the SQ5 TDI will be equipped with a 10.1-inch touch screen dedicated to the infotainment system, while the on-board digital instrumentation will have a 12.3-inch. As an option, taillights are offered with the new, digital OLED technology. Audi SQ5 TDI is equipped as standard with 20-inch aluminium wheels.
The new Audi SQ5 TDI sporty SUV will be equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine. It develops 341 hp and 700 Nm between 1,750 and 3,250 rpm. The Audi SQ5 TDI accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds. An actuator in the exhaust system gives to the V6 engine an extra-strong sound.
The engine power is transferred to an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox that shifts quickly and smoothly. When cornering at higher speeds, the wheel-selective torque control uses finely tuned braking engagement on the interiors of the wheels in the curve and thus improves road holding. The Sport S suspension with electronic shock control lowers the ground clearance by 30 mm lower than on the Q5 and the Audi drive selection now includes a new profile called Allroad.
The 3.0 TDI SUV uses two technologies that reduce consumption and make the engine more responsive. The 48 V mild hybrid system can potentially reduce fuel consumption by up to 0.7 l / 100 km. In mixed driving, fuel consumption is about 8.2 litres / 100 km and CO2 emissions are 215 grammes / 100 km according to WLTP.
The new Audi SQ5 TDI will be produced at the San José Chiapa plant in Mexico and will be launched on the European market in the first quarter of next year. Sales start this week with a base price of 68,100 euros.
