Unveiled last year in the form of a concept car, the first SUV Coupé from Renault is concretized by revealing its final design for the Russian market.
Renault has officially unveiled the new Arkana: a compact SUV coupe with 1.3 TCe engine, all-wheel drive. This attractive and unknown SUV coupe was announced as a future model for Russia, but today we finally know it in its final version and ready to reach the market.
There is no doubt that the new Renault Arkana would fit in all markets, and the brand does not hide it either. In its first statement, Renault said that the model will go on sale in Russia this summer, but also confirmed its desire to "break the rules and become the first generalist manufacturer to offer an international SUV coupe.
With 4.54 meters in length, the Renault Arkana is positioned somewhat above but very close to the current Kadjar in dimensions, but with a sportier body and more distinctive design. Manufactured in Moscow, and although the brand has not been confirmed, some French media suggest that it is developed under the same platform as the Dacia Duster.
The final version of the Renault Arkana does not differ much from the concept seen a year ago, betting on a dynamic and elegant image with which it wants to position itself in the market as the most affordable alternative to such prestigious models as the Mercedes GLC Coupé or the BMW X6. The SUV will be offered in a range of 7 different body colors, with 3 trim levels and equipped as standard with 17-inch wheels.
The Renault Arkana arrives at the moment in the Russian market with a unique variant but of the most advanced and prepared to circulate by any type of terrain. Thanks to the collaboration of the Alliance Renault / Nissan / Mitsubishi, and its collaboration with Daimler, the new SUV coupe goes on sale with the new and advanced engine 1.3 TCe developed together with Mercedes. With 150 HP of power, 250 Nm of maximum torque and an automatic X-Tronic gearbox, it promises an average consumption of 7 l / 100 km.
The Renault Arkana also arrives with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system All Mode 4x4-i, the last generation system developed by the Alliance Renault / Nissan / Mitsubishi and that guarantees the best grip always regardless of the terrain through which it circulates.

On the center console, we find an 8-inch touch screen with which we can access the Easy-Link multimedia system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You can choose 8 ambient colors for the interior and the sound is played through a Bose system. The luggage capacity is 508 liters and can be extended to 1,333 liters.
