Acura has announced the pricing and specifications for its first all-electric models, the 2024 Acura ZDX and ZDX Type S. Based on the General Motors’ Ultium platform, the ZDX and ZDX Type S offer electrified performance, dynamic styling, and advanced technology. Here is everything you need to know about Acura’s new electric SUVs.

Acura ZDX and ZDX Type S Pricing and Availability

The new Acura ZDX and ZDX Type S are available for pre-order, with deliveries starting in early 2024. Acura has revealed the starting prices for the two models, which are as follows:

Acura also offers an Acura Energy Key Card that provides exclusive benefits such as discounts to Acura entertainment partners and special events.

Acura ZDX and ZDX Type S Powertrain and Performance

The 2024 Acura ZDX and ZDX Type S are powered by a 102-kWh battery pack that provides an estimated range of up to 325 miles for the rear-wheel drive ZDX A-Spec and 288 miles for the all-wheel drive ZDX Type S. The battery pack can be recharged using a Level 2 charger or a DC fast charger, with the latter capable of adding up to 150 miles of range in 30 minutes.

The ZDX A-Spec comes with two powertrain options: a single-motor rear-wheel drive system that produces 340 horsepower or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that delivers 400 horsepower. The ZDX Type S, on the other hand, features a performance-tuned dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that generates 500 horsepower, making it the most powerful and best-performing Acura SUV ever.

The ZDX and ZDX Type S also offer various driving modes, such as Comfort, Sport, and Snow, that adjust the power delivery, steering, suspension, and regenerative braking according to the driver’s preference and road conditions. The ZDX Type S adds a Track mode that maximizes the performance potential of the electric SUV.

The ZDX A-Spec rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, while the ZDX Type S boasts 22-inch alloy wheels with a performance tire option.

The ZDX and ZDX Type S have spacious and luxurious interiors, with seating for five passengers and a cargo capacity of 28.6 cubic feet behind the second row.
