The winners were announced in this month's annual San Antonio Auto issue. The PHEV system in the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe plig-in SUV combines a cutting-edge 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, a high-voltage battery pack, and an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission to provide up to 30 miles of all-electric range and up to 32 miles in the city.
