Vauxhall Cascada's classic lines

Vauxhall Cascada

The new Vauxhall Cascada is a full-size convertible at just about 4.7 metres in length. Cascada is the first full-sized convertible engineered, designed, and produced entirely by Vauxhall since the 1930s. Vauxhall anticipates the Cascada to sell approximately ten per cent of C-segment volume per year. The main competitor for Cascada are Volkswagen Eos, Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet, BMW 1-Series Convertible and the Audi A3 Cabriolet.

Designers from Vauxhall has created a car with classic lines, well-matched with a large cabin and high-end quality materials. Vauxhall Cascada has a deep stance and fine lines. Malcom Ward, Vauxhall's British Design Director said about the car: 'Thanks to its high quality, aerodynamically clean soft top with a perfect, seamless profile, the Cascada cuts a fine figure when it's closed.'

But the best powertrain line-up is the brand-new 1.6 SIDI Turbo ECOTEC petrol engine. A superior 2.0 (195PS) Bi-Turbo diesel engine with manual transmission will also be acquirable (0-60mph in just 8.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 143mph ) .
