The new Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck will be available on the European market from the end of this year.
The Fiat-Chrysler alliance recently unveiled the new Ram 1500 TRX pickup, a model specific to the American market, as are the other models developed under the Ram brand. However, AEC Europe, the official importer of the Ram and Dodge in Europe, has officially announced that the Ram 1500 TRX will be imported into Europe starting in December this year.
The new Ram 1500 TRX has a 6.2-liter V8 engine borrowed from Dodge Charger and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk that generates 712 horsepower and a maximum torque of 880 Nm. The American pickup truck offers all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Ram 1500 TRX accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, and the 160 km / h threshold is reached in 10.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 190 km / h.
The decision to import such a model comes a few months after Mercedes-Benz decided to stop production of the X-Class pickup truck due to poor sales. On the other hand, there is already a major popularity on the American market for various electric pickups that will be launched shortly. The list includes models such as Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian R1T or Hummer EV .
