The number of Ford Kuga plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles registered in Europe increased by 20% in 2022 compared to 2021. The model's rising demand made it the best-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) in Europe for a second consecutive year. Because of its superior handling and adaptability, the Ford Kuga Plug-in hybrid quickly became a top seller in its segment.

The Kuga plug-in hybrid has an EV range of 57-67 kilometers. This allows for frequent shorter trips, such as those taken to and from the workplace, to be made using only electric power. The Kuga plug-in hybrid needs between 14.4 and 15.9 kWh/100 km of energy.

Even at the Titanium equipment level, the standard equipment is already fairly complete. The SYNC 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch color touch screen, navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are all standard features. Plug-in hybrids come supplied with both a home charging cable for short-term and public charging wire.
