The officials of the Cupra division published the first images and details regarding the Cupra Ateca facelift. The performance SUV prepared by the sub-brand owned by SEAT proposes small improvements in terms of aesthetics and a series of novelties in the interior.
Cupra Ateca facelift will be equipped as standard with full LED headlights, a slightly restyled front spoiler and a grille with new accessories. As standard, the performance SUV will be equipped with an Akrapovič exhaust system and 19-inch wheels painted in two shades.
Also, the facelift brought new bumpers to the Cupra Ateca SUV, and inside the customers will enjoy the new 9.2-inch multimedia system, which now offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The infotainment system has been equipped with a virtual assistant that can be activated by simply saying the words "Hola Hola".
The most important change to the interior is, however, the new steering wheel, with two dedicated controls for selecting the driving mode (Normal, Sport, Cupra, Individual).
The commercial launch on the European market will take place this summer. In Europe, prices for Cupra Ateca start from 44,000 euros.
As before, the Cupra Ateca will be equipped with the 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine that develops 300 horsepower and 400 Nm. Resources will be managed by a seven-speed automatic transmission and a 4Drive all-wheel-drive system. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes place in 4.9 seconds, and top speed reaches 247 km / h.
The new CUPRA Ateca will be produced in Kvasiny (Czech Republic).
The 2020 Cupra Ateca will be marketed at the end of the year at a price not known to date.
