Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero 789 HP: 630-Unit Hybrid Super SUV

Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero

Lamborghini knows the Urus SE Tettonero does not need louder numbers. It already has them. The plug-in hybrid Super SUV sends 789 hp, or 800 CV, through an all-wheel-drive system built around a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, an electric motor, and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The Tettonero pitch works differently. It sells scarcity by arithmetic. Lamborghini caps production at 630 units, then lets buyers choose from 70-plus configurations across paint, livery, trim, wheels, brake calipers, carbon fiber, and cabin contrast colors. Looking at the data, that creates a controlled allocation model where few examples should leave Sant'Agata Bolognese with the same visual spec.

What Makes the Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Different?

The Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Capsule starts with a Nero Shiny upper-body treatment across the roof, pillars, struts, rear spoiler profile, and exhaust tips. Specifically, buyers can pair that black upper section with six main exterior colors: Arancio Xanto, Bianco Asopo, Grigio Telesto, Viola Pasifae, Giallo Tenerife, and Verde Mercurius.

Lamborghini then adds six livery colors, six brake-caliper colors, 21-inch, 22-inch, and 23-inch wheel choices, carbon fiber exterior pieces, and an optional "63" door graphic. In addition, the interior uses Nero Ade as the base color, then adds contrast tones, Corsa-Tex microfiber, Dinamica leather, carbon fiber trim, and embroidery choices.

Urus SE Tettonero Specs: Hybrid Power With Super-SUV Mass

The Tettonero uses the same core Urus SE plug-in hybrid powertrain. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 works with a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor and a 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery mounted beneath the load floor and above the electronically controlled rear differential. That placement protects cargo space packaging while keeping the battery low and rear-biased enough to help chassis balance.

From an expert perspective, the electric motor does two jobs. It boosts the V8 during hard acceleration and powers the SUV in electric all-wheel-drive mode during low-load driving. Consequently, the Tettonero can act like a silent urban PHEV before it turns into a 194-mph luxury missile.

The Drivetrain Logic Behind "Oversteer On Demand"

The Tettonero uses a centrally mounted torque splitter with an electro-hydraulically actuated multi-plate clutch. That hardware continuously changes torque delivery between the front and rear axles instead of locking the SUV into a fixed torque split. By comparison, older high-output SUVs often used heavy hardware and conservative calibration to fight understeer first.

Lamborghini pairs that center system with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential. The goal: rotate the vehicle under throttle without letting 701 lb-ft overwhelm the rear axle. The 8-speed automatic uses a torque converter because this SUV still needs smooth low-speed control, towing-grade launch refinement, and heat tolerance in traffic, not just track-shift theater.

Pro-Tip: How Should Buyers Spec a Tettonero?

Pick the wheel size around use case, not ego.

  1. 21-inch wheels suit bad roads and longer drives.
  2. 22-inch wheels give the best visual-to-comfort balance.
  3. 23-inch wheels maximize stance but reduce tire sidewall protection.

For resale logic, choose one of the launch-style colors such as Viola Pasifae or Verde Mercurius, then match calipers and embroidery to the livery. That creates a factory-coherent build instead of a random options-list flex.

Dimensions, Cargo, and Daily-Use Reality

The Lamborghini Urus SE still carries usable SUV dimensions. Car and Driver lists a 118.2-inch wheelbase, 201.7-inch length, 79.6-inch width, and 64.5-inch height, which converts to about 3,002 mm, 5,123 mm, 2,022 mm, and 1,638 mm. Cargo volume sits at 16 cubic feet in its listed spec set, while seating supports five passengers.

Those numbers explain the Tettonero's appeal. It gives collectors limited-production theater, but it also keeps the Urus formula intact: five seats, a trunk, all-wheel drive, air suspension, carbon-ceramic braking, and weather-ready tire support through dedicated Pirelli P Zero and Scorpion Winter 2 development.

Exclusivity

The Urus SE Tettonero makes sense for buyers who want the fastest version of rarity: a limited-run Lamborghini SUV with plug-in hybrid speed, a controlled visual program, and enough configuration depth to protect individuality. Pricing has not been published for the Tettonero Capsule, but the regular Urus SE already sits in the $260,000-plus range before deep personalization. Expect the best builds to trade on color discipline, low mileage, and documented Ad Personam spec quality.
