The new Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II from 268,900 euros

Land Rover Classic has launched 25 Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II cars to tribute Land Rover's traditional off-road capabilities and incredible expeditions worldwide. Land Rover has been driving in terrain that was previously inaccessible by car for over 70 years. 

The Land Rover cars have a one-of-a-kind camouflage design that represents the 23 races in which the legendary 4x4 model has competed over its 70-year off-road history, including The Camel Trophy, The First Overland, and the G4 Challenge.

Customers can purchase a one-of-a-kind collector's item and compete in the exclusive three-day Land Rover Trophy competition. The Land Rover Trophy provides memorable experiences for like-minded enthusiasts by challenging them during an exclusive and unforgettable event. Customers will take on off-road challenges inspired by our world-famous expeditions—all under expert supervision. Following three days of competition, one team will be declared the winner. Customers will walk away with lifelong memories and a new appreciation for their vehicles.

The one-of-a-kind Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II Limited Edition models in camouflage pay tribute to Land Rover's legendary off-road heritage and builds on Land Rover Defender models from 2012 to 2016.

The Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II Limited Edition model comes with a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine with 405 hp and 515 Nm of torque and an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The suspension, steering, and brakes have also been improved. Customers can select from 90, 110, or 110 Double Cab Pick-Up for the first time in a Trophy model. Land Rover Classic will only build five Double Cab Pick-Up models out of the 25 exclusive cars, with the remaining 20 cars split evenly between the 90 and 110 models.

The distinctive black and white exterior features a one-of-a-kind camouflage design created by the Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations design team. The bodywork in Fuji White has been finished down to the smallest detail, including rivets, screws, and air intakes, with a contrasting roof in Narvik Black and exterior details in Gloss Black. 18" Sawtooth alloy wheels complete the design theme in Gloss Black.

The camouflage design depicts 23 of the locations conquered by Land Rover over its 70-year history of exceptional off-road driving. Historic off-road challenges and recent Land Rover expeditions in South Africa, Laos, and Peru are examples.

The improved exterior adds to the car's unstoppable off-road abilities. The protective A-pillar has a built-in winch in front of a custom front grill. In bright conditions, the black hood in Satin Finish reduces reflections, while a powerful LED light provides optimal visibility when off-road driving in the dark.

The Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II Limited Edition model has a 500mm wading depth, a rear tow hook, rock guards, and an external roll cage for extra body protection when off-roading. The rear ladder allows easy access to the roof rack, and all cars feature a Land Rover Trophy logo on the mudguards and a white logo on the mudguards.

The Recaro sports seats in black and white Windsor leather with contrast stitching provide excellent support and comfort. The handcrafted leather interior continues on the dashboard, doors, and headliner for an exclusive finish.

The Land Rover Classic's modern infotainment system includes built-in navigation and connectivity and cutting-edge multimedia functions on the authentic dashboard. The ergonomic Pistol Shifter for the 8-speed ZF automatic from Land Rover improves driving control.

A one-of-a-kind Elliot Brown Land Rover Trophy clock in the dashboard's center complements the exterior camouflage design. Elliot Brown provides Trophy owners with a one-of-a-kind, tough Competitor's Edition watch. In addition, Elliot Brown will release 1,000 Limited Edition watches inspired by the Land Rover Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II for those unable to obtain one of the exclusive Limited Edition models.

Land Rover Classic will offer Trophy-inspired original accessories later in 2022 for customers looking to upgrade their Land Rover Defender with designs from the Works V8 Trophy II.
