Are you ready for a vehicle that can handle any terrain, no matter how rugged? Look no further than the 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness, the latest offering from the renowned Japanese automaker. With its rugged design, unmatched capability, and unbeatable comfort, the Subaru Outback Wilderness is the perfect vehicle for adventurers who want to tackle any challenge the road throws.
The 2024 Subaru Outback delivers the optimal blend of SUV capability and car-like ride and handling, thanks to standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Active Torque Vectoring, Vehicle Dynamics Control, and X-MODE with Hill Descent Control. With 8.7 inches of ground clearance (9.5 inches for Wilderness), the Outback can handle rough terrain like a pro while still maintaining a comfortably low step-in height for both front and rear passenger entry.
For the 2024 model year, the Outback will be available in seven trim levels: Base, Premium, Onyx Edition, Wilderness, Limited, Touring, and XT. With prices starting at $28,895 for the Subaru Outback Base model, there's an Outback for every budget.

Under the hood, the Subaru Outback Base is powered by a 2.5-liter BOXER engine that produces 182 hp and 176 lb-ft of torque. The naturally aspirated engine is paired with a standard Lineartronic® CVT (continuously variable transmission) with 8-speed manual shift mode and steering wheel paddle shift control switches. The SUV also comes equipped with the STARLINK dual 7.0-inch center information display with improved on-screen controls.
Stepping up to the Subaru Outback Premium, which starts at $31,195, adds the All-Weather Package, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a 10-way power driver seat, and a rear gate LED light. The Premium also comes standard with the STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto with a full-screen display. The rear section of the center console is equipped with USB-A and USB-C charge ports and rear ventilation.
For those who want even more features, the Onyx Edition builds on the Premium trim, adding Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Automatic Emergency Steering, Hands-Free Power Gate, and dual-function X-MODE. Priced at $36,105, the Subaru Outback Onyx Edition comes standard with a Power Moonroof and Reverse Automatic Braking and features black-finish exterior elements and badging 18-inch alloy wheels in a black finish, and an exclusive gray two-tone interior.
For even more power, the Subaru Outback Onyx Edition XT, priced at $39,360, upgrades to the powerful 2.4-liter turbo BOXER engine and a 180-Degree Front View Monitor, 8-way power front passenger seat, and heated rear seats.
The Subaru Outback Touring is the top-of-the-line trim, starting at $38,795. It builds on the Limited trim and adds the STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Navigation system, Reverse Automatic Braking, ventilated front seats, a DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System, and a power passenger seat.
With its impressive features and capabilities, the 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness is definitely a vehicle to watch out for. It boasts a powerful engine, all-wheel drive, and impressive ground clearance, perfect for off-road adventures.
The Wilderness trim takes it a step further with its exclusive low-speed/low-gradient control and all-terrain tires that provide better traction and grip on slippery or uneven surfaces. The tuned suspension of the Wilderness also ensures a comfortable and stable ride even on rough terrains.
The Subaru Outback Wilderness comes standard with the STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and a Harman Kardon speaker system. It also has a 180-degree front view monitor that helps the driver see obstacles in front of the vehicle.
