McLaren MP4-12C - re-write the rules of sports car design

McLaren MP4-12C

The McLaren MP4-12C is a high-performance sports cars from the independent car division based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England. The unique engineering will stimulate the world’s greatest sports cars.

The McLaren MP4-12C highlights is an innovative carbon fibre chassis structure: a strong and lightweight engineering solution and the first time a car has a one-piece carbon fibre frame.

This innovation in sports car design suggests that the 12C submits new standards in performance, safety, cost-effectiveness in an already aggressive area.

McLaren MP4-12C

The McLaren MP4-12C is costing between £125,000 and £175,000 because offers performance and technology that transcends the world’s most reliable and modern supercars. The 12C will be produced by McLaren in the UK.

The advantages of carbon composite – lightweight, high durability and torsional rigidity, and endurance. It has been created to provide a much more linear structure overall which in turn gives to a more dense car that is more manageable to position on the road and more pleasant to drive.

McLaren MP4-12C

The McLaren MP4-12C is powered by a 3.8 litre V8 twin-turbo engine generating approximately 600hp with the most economical possible fuel consumption and carbon footprint

The McLaren MP4-12C has been built throughout a difficult mechanical package that puts importance on aerodynamics, short dimensions, performance and effectiveness, practicality and luxury. It has a new chassis idea, original engine, unique gearbox, latest suspension system, modern telematics system; everything is new.
