The second-generation Dacia Duster was officially presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2017. Shortly after its debut, the SUV entered the production line from Mioveni, Romania.
Now, Dacia officials have announced that the Duster number 500,000 was produced at the Mioveni plant. According to Dacia representatives, this model is painted in Rouge Fusion color, is equipped with the 1.3-liter 150- hp petrol engine and will arrive in France.
Every day, the Mioveni plant produces 1,400 vehicles, of which 1,050 are Duster units.
Miguel Oliver-Boquera, executive director of the plant in Mioveni, said: "The success, in any field, is based on competent, serious and responsible people. So is Dacia. Duster is an emblematic model from the Dacia range produced in Mioveni, to which all the teams of the Renault Romania Group contribute, to which I thank them , "
Dacia Duster is the best selling SUV on the Romanian market and, at the same time, the second most appreciated model on the Romanian market, after Dacia Logan.
Dacia has been a member of the French car manufacturer Renault since 1999.
