Lamborghini Revuelto SV Delivers 1,065 CV and 80% More Downforce

Lamborghini Revuelto SV

  • Lamborghini

The Lamborghini Revuelto SV pushes Sant'Agata's V12 hybrid architecture toward sustained track performance. Lamborghini limits production to 1,963 cars, referencing the company's founding year, while reserving early allocations for established customers and collectors. US pricing remains unannounced.

SV means Super Veloce, or 'super fast.' Here, that badge brings 1,065 CV, equal to approximately 1,050 hp, plus 1,425 Nm or 1,051 lb-ft of system torque. The result represents Lamborghini's most powerful series-production road car to date.

Revuelto SV Performance Specifications

The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 produces 825 CV at 9,250 rpm and spins to 9,500 rpm. Three electric motors supplement it: two axial-flux units power the front wheels, while a radial-flux motor works with the rear-mounted eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Specifically, Lamborghini enlarged the high-performance battery to 7.3 kWh and raised its maximum output to 190 kW. Engineers claim four times greater output consistency, a valuable gain during repeated full-throttle laps when heat normally forces a hybrid system to reduce assistance.

Aerodynamics Put Lap Time Ahead of Top Speed

The fixed double-profile rear wing, revised front splitter, underbody channels, and Gurney flap generate 80% more downforce than the regular Revuelto. Lamborghini also reports 60% greater downforce-to-drag efficiency and 12% better brake cooling.

Consequently, the Revuelto SV trades a small amount of maximum-speed potential for stronger cornering grip and braking stability. It recorded a 1:41.6 Hockenheimring lap with factory driver Marco Mapelli, making it the circuit's quickest recorded production car.

GT3 Suspension and CCM-R Plus Brakes

Looking at the data, Lamborghini concentrated on repeatability rather than a dramatic straight-line gain. Manually adjustable passive dampers let technicians select flat-track, bumpy-track, or wet-track settings without adding the weight and filtering associated with adaptive hardware.

The CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes measure 16.5 by 1.6 inches up front and 16.1 by 1.3 inches at the rear. A six-axis sensor measures pitch, roll, yaw, and acceleration across three directions, allowing the integrated brake controller to estimate grip and manage wheel slip.

In addition, Pilota mode adds five traction-control levels derived from Lamborghini's GT3 program.

Which Revuelto SV Tires Suit Each Use?

Bridgestone created three vehicle-specific choices:

  • Choose Potenza Race R semi-slicks for dry track sessions.
  • Choose Potenza Sport tires for regular road use, rain, and optional run-flat capability.
  • Choose Blizzak LM005 tires for cold-weather driving.

Pro-Tip

Check the tire designation before every track event. By comparison, ordinary replacement tires may fit the 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels but lack the load, heat, and steering characteristics used to tune the chassis.

From an expert perspective, the Lamborghini Revuelto Super Veloce earns its SV badge through aero efficiency, thermal control, and repeatable braking. The extra 50 CV helps, but the chassis engineering creates the real 'Quantum of Driving' shift.
