Lamborghini has introduced the first four-wheel-drive off-road supercar with a V10 engine. The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato is ready to travel the world, breaking through barriers and forging new roads. Lamborghini has introduced the new Huracán Sterrato in connection with the art exhibition Art Basel in Miami Beach, Florida: a magnificent, off-road super sports car designed to deliver maximum pleasure off the tarmac.

The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato provides thrilling driving experiences for daring fans who want complete control over all surfaces, from highway asphalt to gravel and sand. Compared to the Huracán EVO, the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato has an improved LDV (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle System) with calibrated STRADA and SPORT driving programs. For the first time in a Huracán, the RALLY driving software, which optimizes the car for performance driving on loose ground, is also available.

Automobili Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer Rouven Mohr states: "We have blended the experience of two separate cars - a super sports car and a rally car - uniquely with the off-road idea, which permeates the Huracán Sterrato visually and technically. Lamborghini vehicles always elicit strong emotions, but the Huracán Sterrato produces entirely new ones".

A glance at the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato reveals the elements that make it extraordinary. Above all, the ground clearance is 44 millimeters higher than on a Huracán EVO, and the track width is 30 millimeters wider in the front and 34 millimeters wider in the back. The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato has a powerful, raw, and boundary-pushing aesthetic combined with aluminum protection plates, bigger mudguards, and more robust panels.

The rugged aesthetic is matched by 19-inch rims fitted with Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tires that provide a great grip on road, sand, and gravel. The tires were conceived and developed in partnership between Lamborghini and Bridgestone to ensure the correct pattern and qualities match the car's DNA. The tires also have Run Flat technology, which allows you to continue driving at 80 km/h in the case of a puncture.

The forces are strong, as they usually are in a Lamborghini. As a result, the new Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 610 horsepower and 560 Newton meters, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and electronically controlled four-wheel drive with a mechanical locking differential at the rear.

The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a limited top speed of 260 km/h because of the increased ground clearance and rougher tires. The Huracán Sterrato is efficiently re-braked thanks to six-piston and four-piston brakes with carbon fiber ceramic discs (380 millimeters front, 356 millimeters rear).

The interior of the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato is made of rare Alcantara Verde Sterrato material, and the Human Machine Interface (HMI) infotainment system has new visuals and special terrain features such as a digital altimeter and inclinometer, as well as a compass and steering angle meter. It is also possible to videotape the continuing driving adventure with the Lamborghini Drive Recorder and afterward enjoy the most exciting moments with the Lamborghini UNICA app.

The new Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato will go into production in February and will be limited to 1,499 copies.
