Suzuki GB is excited to announce the final specifications for its new motorcycle, GSX1250FA, following the official release of its images last week. The company is also pleased to confirm its attendance at the International Motorcycle & Scooter Show at the NEC in Birmingham from 26th November to 6th December.
The new 1250 model offers all the advantages of its popular predecessor, GSX650F, which won the Motorcycle News 'Sports Tourer of the Year' award in 2007. With a powerful 1255cc engine, the new model offers impressive mile-munching capabilities.
Built around a classic tube frame, the GSX1250FA offers a great balance between sporty handling and reassured stability, with rake and trail figures of 25.3 degrees and 104mm. The bike's 43mm front forks and single rear shock absorber with spring pre-load adjustability ensure a comfortable ride, whether riding solo or pillion.
The GSX1250FA is equipped with Suzuki's proven 1255cc engine, which delivers a flexible engine that's equally comfortable pulling from low down the rev range and higher up. The bike's digital fuel injection system ensures superb throttle response and feel, as well as improved range and reduced emissions.
Additional features such as large intake and exhaust valves (31mm and 27mm, respectively), Suzuki's own nickel-phosphorous-silicon-carbide cylinder coating to reduce piston friction, and a 6-speed gearbox make the new 1250 one of the best performing and versatile machines on the market.
For added peace of mind, the GSX1250FA comes with digital ABS as standard and an adjustable seat. The functional and easy-to-read instrument cluster includes a gear position indicator and shift light to keep the rider fully informed.
