In the middle of last year, Peugeot introduced the new 2008 generation. The French manufacturer's SUV has received a new platform, has an improved design, the interior has undergone a series of transformations, and the range of engines has been enriched with an electric variant.
The new Peugeot e-2008, the electric version of the small class SUV, is equipped with a 100 kW (136 horsepower) and 260 Nm engine. The electricity needed is stored in a battery pack with a capacity of 50 kWh. According to the French manufacturer's officials, the range calculated according to the WLTP standard is 310 kilometres.
The battery can be charged even at fast stations with a power of 100 kW, in which case, a charge of up to 80% lasts for 30 minutes. Alternatively, the Peugeot e-2008 electric SUV also supports charging at 7.4 kW and 11 kW stations, in which case the charging will take 8 hours and 5 hours, respectively.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is done in 8.3 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 150 km / h.
Four levels of equipment are available: Active, Allure, GT Line and GT. The most affordable version of the new Peugeot e-2008 electric SUV starts at 33,000 euros with VAT.
The Active equipment level will include, among other things, the following features: automatic air conditioning system, rear parking sensors, driving mode selector (Eco / Sport), infotainment system with 7-inch touch screen, Hill Assist function, automatic headlights, power alloy wheels with a diameter of 16 inches, daylight with LED side mirrors that are electrically adjustable and heated, and automatic brake emulation.
The Peugeot 2008 Allure version adds the following equipment: longitudinal bars placed on the ceiling, reversing camera, 3D digital instrument panel, 17-inch alloy wheels, access area lighting system, chrome exterior trim, height-adjustable passenger seat and upholstery Mi-Tep.
The GT Line equipment level will increase with the following: front parking sensors, full LED headlights, rear tinted side windows, LED ambient lighting system, GT Line exterior package, aluminium pedals and sills, black ceiling, and LED fog lights and cornering function.
The top of the range will also offer the following equipment: blind spot detection system, 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry system, 10-inch diagonal navigation and centre screen, heated seats and Alcantara / Mi Tep mixed upholstery.
