The Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet will be officially unveiled at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, scheduled from 12 to 22 September 2019.

The German company brings a breath of freshness in the SUV segment, expanding the range of the popular crossover with a convertible version. With a length of 4,268 mm, the T-Roc Cabriolet is built on the MQB platform and shows us that Volkswagen wants to get as much as possible from the popular SUV segment. The ceiling can be lowered in 9 seconds and it can be closed or opened at speeds up to 30 km / h.

The new model receives two petrol engines: 1.0 liters with 115 hp (200 Nm of maximum torque) and 1.5 liters with 150 hp (250 Nm of maximum torque). The 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, but there is also the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The standard technical equipment in both variants includes Front Assist with City emergency braking and pedestrian recognition, multiple collision braking and Lane Assist lane maintenance assistance.

The list price was not disclosed. Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet will arrive at the dealership in the early months of 2020.
