Today marks the beginning of the European tour for the new Giulia and Stelvio, leading up to their official launch in select Alfa Romeo dealerships. These two new models represent an important turning point in the company's development, exemplifying an evolution in both the brand's reputed excellence (perfect weight balance, first-class driving dynamics, technological and engineering solutions at the top of the segment) and the "timeless beauty" characteristic of Alfa Romeo design. And now, with Tonale, this "beauty" of Italian design is made even more alluring and modern by concentrating the stylistic intervention on the front to elicit a clear and powerful sense of family.

Visitors to Italy on the weekend of February 11-12 can see them for themselves at an Open Doors event showcasing the new Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-in Hybrid Q4. Everything is set to welcome fans interested in learning more about the development of two successful models that, despite a more competitive market, combined for about 10,000 registrations in Italy last year. Additionally, Alfa Romeo Giulia continues its leadership among the non-hybrid sedans in the D segment. At the same time, Alfa Romeo Stelvio leads the D-SUV segment for the fourth year, with a share of over 16%, rising to around 20% in the Premium group.

The press presentation event " Evolving is performance art," which precedes the debut of the two new models, encompasses the whole effort and dedication of the designers and engineers at Alfa Romeo to enhance two masterpieces that are the product of a perfect balance between form and function. Giulia and Stelvio's development is akin to "Performance Art," the emerging art genre in which the artist performs in real-time in front of an audience. Similarly, Alfa Romeo's "mechanical creations" take physical form, inspiring powerful feelings and providing an unparalleled driving experience. In a nutshell, the Italian name is inextricably related to the highest expression of an everlasting aesthetic culture, Art. The Giulia and the Stelvio are excellent examples; they are the most cutting-edge models in their respective categories and will continue to serve as a benchmark for Alfa Romeo as it strives to reimagine sportiness for the twenty-first century.

The renowned and unique "Trilobo" is given a modern reworking on the front of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio with a new treatment of the front grilles, where the logo is located the lower ones designed for the two primary air intakes. The main change to the front of the cars can be found in the "3+3" lighting system, with new adaptive Full-LED Matrix headlights; this creates a strong family feeling with Tonale while also recalling a renowned stylistic feature of the Brand first seen on the iconic Alfa Romeo SZ Zagato and the Alfa Romeo Proteo concept. The three modules of the new Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio's front line work together to provide daylight and a dynamic direction indicator. They do so with the help of two cutting-edge technologies: the "Adaptive Front Lighting System," which provides continuous adjustment of the dipped beam headlights based on speed and specific driving conditions, and the "Glare-Free High Beam Segmented Technology," which, in low light conditions, eliminates glare without sacrificing illumination.

The new Alfa Romeo Giulia and the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio include state-of-the-art technology to keep you connected and comfortable while driving. They still provide that signature Alfa Romeo thrill. The new 12.3-inch TFT screen, which is completely digital, stands out in the middle of the instrument panel, which features the iconic "telescope" design and provides access to all the vehicle's information and the settings for autonomous driving systems.

The new Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio have a sleek and user-friendly HMI (Human Machine Interface) that places all vehicle controls within easy reach. The infotainment system is designed to get updates "Over The Air" and comes with a warranty that covers the contents, functionalities, and the "Alfa Connect Services" platform, which provides various helpful services for the driver's safety and comfort.

These include, but are not limited to, an Italian aesthetic, state-of-the-art powertrains, ideal weight distribution, innovative engineering solutions, and a potent weight-to-power ratio.

Both the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Stelvio benefit from an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with fixed aluminum paddles, ensuring unmatched cornering performance and the incredibly direct steering that goes along with it. Finally, the new Giulia and Stelvio include a full suite of ADAS (Advanced Driver Support Systems) features for level 2 autonomous driving, striking a fine balance between driving pleasure and assistance systems.
