Ford Team presented Fordzilla P1 concept at the world's largest gaming fair, Gamescom. Gamescom 2020 is virtually open its doors from August 27th to 30th. Europe's largest trade fair for computer games takes place exclusively on the Internet. Ford is participating this year for the fourth time and puts its Fordzilla team at the center of the company's image.

The collaboration between Ford designers and the gaming community via social media is a world first in the automotive industry. The aim is to explore parallels between the virtual and the real world. Team Fordzilla was founded last year and has a total of 40 highly talented computer players from Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Great Britain.

The Team Fordzilla P1 concept has been an incredibly exciting project. Team Fordzilla have really been able to unleash all their creativity. Ford also announced that it would build a life-size model of the P1 vehicle by the end of the year, and work on this has already started.

"The Team Fordzilla P1 concept was a particularly fascinating project for our designers because we were able to let our imaginations run wild. We hope that the players are just as enthusiastic about the results as we are," said Amko Leenarts, European Design Director. Ford Europe.
