The Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan is already one of the most impressive electric vehicles on the market, with its sleek design, futuristic interior, and impressive range. But what if you want something even more luxurious, spacious, and exclusive? Enter the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV, the latest addition to the brand's ultra-premium sub-brand.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is based on the EQS SUV, which is expected to debut in 2024 as a rival to the Tesla Model X and other high-end electric crossovers. But unlike the regular EQS SUV, which will have a more conventional and understated look, the Maybach version will have a distinctive grille, chrome accents, two-tone paint, and 23-inch wheels. Inside, the cabin will be lavishly appointed with leather, wood, metal, and ambient lighting. The rear seats will offer reclining and massage functions, as well as a champagne cooler and flutes.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Maybach will also have some impressive tech features, such as a 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen for the infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, and a head-up display with augmented reality. The SUV will also have a Level 3 autonomous driving system, which means it can handle most driving tasks on highways and urban roads, but still requires human supervision.

But what about the performance? The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV will not disappoint in that department either. The SUV will have a dual-motor setup that will deliver over 600 hp and 800 pound-feet of torque. The battery pack will have a capacity of over 100 kWh, which should provide a range of over 300 miles on a single charge. The SUV will also support fast charging up to 350 kW, which means it can replenish 80% of its battery in less than 20 minutes.

The Maybach EQS 680 is a Mercedes luxury vehicle and a statement of the brand's commitment to electrification. Mercedes-Benz plans to launch 10 new EV models by 2025 and aims to become fully electric by 2030 in key markets. The EQS SUV Maybach is one of the flagship models that will showcase the brand's vision of sustainable mobility.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Maybach is expected to debut in late 2024 or early 2025, with a price tag of over $200,000. It will be a rare sight on the roads, as only a few thousand units will be produced per year. But it will be one of the most luxurious and advanced EVs ever made for those who can afford it.
