Mazda has won the Red Dot design awards for both the Mazda CX-30 and the electric Mazda MX-30. This prize is awarded to product design that is considered innovative and visionary.

Both award winners are formed within the framework of Mazda's well-known design language, "KODO Design: Soul of Motion," which has roots in Japanese aesthetics and follows the principles of "less is more".

Nevertheless, the appearance of the two cars is very different. The Mazda CX-30 is easily recognizable and has a distinct affinity for Mazda3 and other models. The fully electric MX-30 shows a more explorative and modern expression of Kodo design that differs from the rest of the model range.

The winners were selected by an international jury of over 40 experts who evaluated the contributions based on many criteria - including innovation, functionality, ergonomics and timelessness.

Mazda has also previously excelled in the Red Dot design awards with its KODO design language. The CX-30 and MX-30 receive the car manufacturer's eighth and ninth awards from this competition.

The award-winning products have the right to use the prestigious "Red Dot" symbol - an international quality stamp for good design.
