At the 37th Festival Automobile International (France), the Peugeot 9X8 Hybrid Hypercar won the "Grand Prize for the most beautiful Hypercar of the year". The Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar debuted in July 2021 and impressed both the judges of the International Festival Automobile and design enthusiasts. "I am quite pleased with this award since it recognizes the collaborative efforts of the design teams and Peugeot Sport on this project," said Matthias Hossann, Peugeot Design Director. "The partnership with the Peugeot Sport crew has been fantastic on both a technical and human level."
The Peugeot 9X8, which is part of a new generation of racing cars and will make its FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) debut in 2022, combines all of the Peugeot brand's contemporary design elements: feline lines, fluid contours accentuated by sporty features, slim and structured flanks, and the unmistakable light signatures of the three claws of the lion mark. The Peugeot 9X8 is a sleek and stylish vehicle that provokes emotion and symbolizes speed. The Peugeot 9X8 is already a symbol of aesthetic and technological advancement, as well as ultimate design."
The inside of the Peugeot 9X8 Hybrid Hypercar is a monument to the brand's design skill, including the brand-exclusive Peugeot i-Cockpit. As with any production vehicle project, great care was taken with the inside and external design. The Peugeot 9X8's cockpit has been overhauled from the ground up to provide drivers with an ergonomic and intuitive driving experience.
