Renault Captur is official although for the price we will have to wait for a new announcement. The E-TECH plug-in hybrid engine will be the basis for 12 electrified models in the near future.
The rechargeable hybrid is just one of the three pillars of the new Renault Captur that also counts on connection thanks to EASY LINK and Renault EASY CONNECT and on autonomous driving aligning with the new Renault Clio technologies. Created on the CMF-B platform, the new Captur is 4.23 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.63 m, rims up to 18" and a new design. Renault Captur engines offer petrol and diesel units with 5 or 6-speed manual transmission and the automatic 7-speed double clutch.
Those who prefer traditional engines can start with the Captur TCe 100, a petrol engine entry level with the 3-cylinder turbocharger with 100 bhp and 160 Nm of torque combined with the 5-speed manual gearbox (replaces TCe 90). Captur TCe 130 FAP is the 130 hp petrol engine and 240 Nm of maximum torque, combined with the six-speed manual or the EDC 7.
The most powerful petrol is that of the Captur TCe 155 FAP: 1.3-liter engine at 155 hp and 270 Nm. This version is combined with the 7-speed dual clutch with steering wheel paddles and Sport mode.
Easy Link arrives on the new Captur with the new 9.3 "display, a vertical tablet-oriented towards the driver that includes connectivity with smartphones and the network.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard on all versions of EASY LINK starting from the basic 7" model. Renault Captur it uses the 4G SIM to be always connected to the network and start the automatic emergency call.
The new seats reduce the overall dimensions thanks to the shell which increases the space for the rear seat by 17 mm. News also for the rear headrests optimized for the benefit of visibility, for the door panels with softer materials and lighting and for the 536-liter boot (+81 liters) in addition to the 27 liters of the compartments scattered around the cabin.
